Broken Tree in Makassar Evacuated by Joint Personnel

Fallen tree on Jalan Jembatan Lama RT 07/07 Makassar Urban Village, Makassar, East Jakarta, Wednesday (1/17), was already handled by joint personnel. 

We directly cooperated with related unit to handle this

Makassar Sub-district's City Park and Forestry's Implementer Unit Head, Toto Yulianto, said the handling involved 30 joint personnel from City Park, PPSU, Fire Handling and Rescue, and BPBD.

Fallen Bamboo Tree in Rawamangun Evacuated

According to him, the incident happened at 1:39 PM during heavy rain and strong wind. The tree was finally handled by joint personnel at 2:30 PM.

"We directly cooperated with related unit to handle this," he admitted.

The tree, he continued, fell on house's roof owned by Sugeng. Sugeng will apply compensation for his roof to Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency.

"I hope there will be assistance from the agency to repair my roof," he said.

Responding this, Toto lets Sugeng to apply the letter of compensation. The required documents are RT/RW and urban village letter, copy of ID card and family card, picture of incident, and police letter.

"It is hoped the letter will be agreed to lower his burden," he closed.
