15,606 Trees in East Jakarta Pruned Throughout 2023

Throughout 2023, as many as 15,606 trees spread across 10 sub-districts have been pruned.

This is to anticipate cases of fallen trees

East Jakarta Parks and City Forests Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin said tree pruning is a daily routine agenda involving 90 personnel. It aimed to prevent fallen trees in the rainy season.

"We have pruned a total of 15,606 trees along 2023. This is to anticipate cases of fallen trees," he said, Monday (1/2).

5,327 Trees in Central Jakarta Pruned

Throughout January 2023, as many as 1,790 trees were planted, 1,436 in February, 1,062 in March, 1,053 in April, 1,382 in May.

Then, 1,345 were planted in June, 1,334 in July, 1,343 in August, 1,306 in September, 1,257 in October, 1,267 in November, and 1,031 in December.
