10 Tabebuia Trees Planted at Malaka 2 Cemetery

As many as 10 tabebuia trees were planted at Malaka 2 Public Cemetery, Jalan Rawadas RT 03/03 Pondok Kopi Urban Village, Duren Sawit East Jakarta, Friday (1/19). 

We'll keep planting to support greening

East Jakarta City Parks and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifin, admitted the trees which were planted at the cemetery's parking lot is aimed to support greening.

"We'll keep planting to support greening. It is the first effort in Friday Planting program this year," he said.

According to him, those trees have three meters of height and 20 centimeters of diameter.

"We deploy 10 personnel to plant the trees," he added.

Benardi (47), one of local residents, stated the cemetery already has various plants. It is hoped the newly plants will make the area more greener and fresher.

The more plants to be planted, the more greener and fresher the cemetery," he stated.
