40 Elderly People Enjoy Posyandu Services in Tanah Sereal

Around 40 elderly people enjoyed Posyandu health service held at the RW 08 Secretariat, Jalan Tanah Sereal Raya, Tanah Sereal Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta, Tuesday (1/23).

From the results of the examination, overall he was healthy

Tanah Sereal Urban Village Head, Suharti expressed the health examination service provided by Posyandu RW 08 cadres is a routine activity held once a month.

According to her, the activity which took place from 9 AM to 11.30 AM was provided by six Posyandu cadres. The health services provided included health checks, weight measurements, waist circumference measurements, blood pressure checks, uric acid, blood sugar, and cholesterol checks.

"From the results of the examination, overall he was healthy," she explained, Tuesday (1/23).

Ardi (78), an Elderly Person from RT 04/08, Tanah Sereal Urban Village said they were happy with the free health checks provided by the Posyandu and health workers from the Tanah Sereal Community Health Center.

"We're grateful for this free health check service. Because that way we can find out and monitor health," he explained.

Separately, Posyandu services were also provided to toddlers on Jalan Puspa II, RT 11/12, Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.

Cempaka I Posyandu Cadre, RW 12, Cengkareng Timur Urban Village, Eti uttered the services provided included weighing, measuring height, providing immunizations and additional food.

"As of this afternoon, 50 toddlers had had their weight and height measured," he stated.
