Go Tuntas JS Effectively Assist Children's Nutrition

South Jakarta Administration has commitment to support children's nutrition, especially toddlers. One of the efforts is applying Gerakan Orang Tua Asuh Anak Stunting Jakarta Selatan (Go Tuntas JS).

South Jakarta Administration and Community Welfare Assistant, Sayid Ali, admitted coaching and assistance have been given for 615 toddlers indicated with stunting in 10 sub-districts last year.

Jakarta Beraksi Program Reaches 292 Toddlers

"Our target is not only handling, but also preventing. We gave nutritious food and free health check up," he said, Thursday (1/25).

He explained that Rp 1.3 million from head of regional units (OPD)'s alms is given for 122 children or toddlers through Go Tuntas JS program.

"We take example from Acting Jakarta Governor as a foster father  namely Gibran who lives in South Jakarta," he added.

Moreover, his side also cooperates with Perumda PAM Jaya, Baznas Bazis, Yayasan Baitul Maal PLN, PT Astra, Radio Sonora, and others.

According to him, regional budget for handling and preventing stunting has been increased.

"Thanks to all for participating in this program. It is hoped there will be no more stunting children in South Jakarta," he hoped.
