Ciracas Residents Appreciate 3R Waste Management Facility

The resident of RW 09 Ciracas Urban Village, East Jakarta, appreciating the operational of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (3R) Waste Management which was launched by Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, Friday (1/26).
The facility is helping us much in sorting waste
Erna Gunawarti (56), resident of RT 12/09 Ciracas Urban Village, admitted the facility will help her in sorting waste. It is because waste sorting is done automatically by machine.

."The facility is helping us much in sorting waste," she admitted.
Similar thing was also stated by Partini, resident of RT 09/09 Ciracas. She explained that there are 1.5 tons of waste managed by the facility everyday.
"Fruit waste is for maggot, while inorganic waste will be sent to RW 09 waste bank," she said.
Meanwhile, RW 09 Head, Triyanto, explained previously the waste was sorted manually and the transported to a site in Komplek Kebersihan by using cart. Then the waste was sorted there.
"We have 17 RTs, but the carts are only 13 units," he admitted.
Triyanto added his residents are agree to clean waste everyday for the sake of environment cleanliness. The waste can be sorted by the residents.
"This new facility will make our area cleaner," he said.
