Satpol PP Curbed Kiosks in Tanah Abang

Central Jakarta Satpol PP officers once again curbed street vendors in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (4/7). Hundreds of kiosks were netted and secured.

We curbed 100 kiosks today, while yesterday were 250 kiosks. The effort is continuous running in a week ahead

The effort run smoothly by involving 60 officers. The officers swept the vendors around Tanah Abang started from Jalan KH Mas Mansyur in front of Block A Market heading on Jalan Fachrudin, Jalan Jatibaru in front of Tanah Abang Train Station until Jalan Kebon Jati in front of Block G Market. Next, on Jalan Jatibaru III to VIII, exactly in front of Tanah Abang station to south side of Block F Market.

Head of Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Yadi Rusmayadi expressed to realize free street vendors program, his party keep continues to sweep and control during this week, start from Monday (4/6) to Sunday (4/12).

250 Stalls of Street Vendors In Tanah Abang Controlled

His party targets Tanah Abang area to be free from street vendors so that roads and pedestrian are function as well.

Later on, added Rusmayadi, hundreds of curbed kiosks to be carried out to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung, East Jakarta to be demolished.
