To optimize the implementation of Special Libraries in Jakarta
The coordination meeting discussed development plans, processes, and data collection mechanisms for Special Libraries in Jakarta for the future.
Library Construction and Reading Love Cultivation Division Head, Suryanto said the coordination meeting agreed that the use of data was very important for each library stakeholder in carrying out their role.
Dispusip: Jakartans Have Good Reading Habits"Besides being a forum for Special Library aspirations, ISIPII is also a forum for librarianship development, Dispusip as a provincial level supervisory institution and National Library of Indonesia as a national level parent institution," he explained, Wednesday (1/31).
Besides facilitating planning analysis, valid real-time data is also useful as a control medium and a form of accountability for the implementation of a policy.
Thereby, there was a need to develop a system that could accommodate the needs of all library stakeholders. System development will be discussed further technically and is projected to be operational in mid-2024.
"This spirit of improving the quality of data collection is in line with the Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts to optimize the implementation of Special Libraries in Jakarta through plans to update Governor Regulation Number 180/2016 on the Implementation of Special Libraries which will also be held in 2024," he explained.
As for the information, the meeting was led by Jakarta P2PKM Division Head, Suryanto; and participants from FPK-Indonesia Chairperson, Riko Bintari Pertamasari; PPUK Perpusnas Chairperson, Rohani Tobing; and ISIPII President, Farli Elnumeri.
