Puddles on Jalan Yos Sudarso Recede within Five Minutes

Puddles as high as around 15 centimeters on Jalan Yos Sudarso right in front of the North Jakarta City Mayor's Office, Kebon Bawang Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, completely receded.

They clean storm drains and help manage traffic in the field

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Supervisor, Abdul Rosyid expressed the inundation was triggered by heavy rain that had occurred since Tuesday (1/30) evening.

"The puddle immediately receded completely within five minutes after the rain stopped this morning or at 8.30 AM," he expressed, Wednesday (1/31).

He explained three SDA personnel had been working at the location since 4 AM.

"They clean storm drains and help manage traffic in the field," he explained.

Thus far, the inundation handling is still being conducted on Jalan RE Martadinata, around the Tanjung Priok Terminal.

Alan (39), an employee of the North Jakarta Mayor's Office, stressed the puddle on Jalan Yos Sudarso receded at 8.30 AM.

"I appreciate the performance of the personnel who were alert and responded quickly to the inundation," he stated.
