Heru Gives 21 Land Certificates to Pegangsaan Dua Residents

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, handed over 21 land certificates for residents of RT 003/003, Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Monday (2/5). The effort was aimed to provide legal certainty over land ownership.

The activity was also attended by Jakarta National Land Board Head, Wartomo and North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim.
"Today I deliver 21 land certificates for the residents. Other residents have received their certificates previously. We need to make sure residents in Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village already have their certificate," Heru said as quoted in Jakarta Provincial Government's Press Release.

"I also deliver my appreciation to Jakarta National Land Board Head and his apparatus for issuing the certificate. Thanks to mayor, sub-district head, urban village head for collecting data together with North Jakarta Land Board Agency," he added.
Wartomo admitted the certificate hand over is part of his office and Jakarta Provincial Government synergy. The effort is also based on President Joko Widodo and Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto.
"Indeed (the government) must provide certainty of rights to each plot of land. There are approximately 126 million plots of land throughout Indonesia, and in Jakarta there are 1.8 million plots. In North Jakarta, we have completed fully," he explained.
He hopes that the issuance of land certificates with ownership status can provide legal certainty, calm, and avoid land problems, including disputes, conflicts and cases.
Meanwhile, Khatib, one of local residents, thanked to Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono for giving his certificate freely.
"Thanks to the governor, sub-district head, urban village head, and national land board head for giving certificate freely," he admitted.
Previously, Acting Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono monitored cheap basic food market held at RPTRA H. Oyar, Pegangsaan Dua, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. The program was held together with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo). There were 1,000 packages sold there.
