DPRD Chairman Appreciates Handover of Residents' Land Certificates

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, appreciated the handover of land certificates to residents through the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.

Based on data from Jakarta National Land Agency (BPN), he stated, as many as 1.8 million residents have received land certificates from the government. This number has exceeded the set target of 1.6 million certificates.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), many people in Jakarta have now received certificates from the PTSL program," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (12/1) night.

With PTSL program, Jakarta residents now have legal power over the land they own.

Hence, he urged all regional apparatuses to help make it easier for residents who want to register for the program.

"I want the RT/RW or urban village heads to make coordination with the community easier, the people's rights must be respected and transparent," he asserted.
