According to him, the 187 m x 40 cm channel construction is already started on January 29, 2024.
"Personnel install U-ditch in size 40x40 meter. It is targeted to complete in two weeks," he added.
He hoped the new channel will prevent inundation or flood in the area.
"I appeal the resident to take care the channel's cleanliness," he continued.
Meanwhile, Sasti (41) local resident, admitted the area was often inundated because of no water channel.
"Thank you for providing water channel here. Hopefully the area will be free from inundation during rainy season," she hoped.
