Solutions to Inundation in Rawa Buaya Being Worked On

The West Jakarta administration, conducted a sudden inspection (sidak) of locations prone to inundation in the RW 04 area, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district, Monday (2/5).

It aimed to find the causes and solutions to overcome inundation.
Rawa Buaya Urban Village Head, Junaidi said the inspection of locations prone to inundation also involved representatives from related regional apparatus organizations (OPD), such as the Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA), Regional Development Planning Sub-agency (Suban), Public Housing and Settlement Sub-agency, Development and Environment Sub-agency, private sector, LMK, and RT/RW representatives.

RW 04 Chairman, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Jupri Ahmad expressed the low-lying conditions of the area meant that the area was often inundated during the rainy season.
"Hopefully, by visiting the field, we can find a solution to the inundation in the RW 04 area," he hoped.
