The construction of infiltration wells at residential on Jalan Lapangan Sepak Bola, RT 03/04, Tidung Island Urban Village, Seribu Selatan Island Sub-district is targeted to complete Friday (2/9).

Seribu Island Water Resources Sub-agency Head, Hendri, said the construction is being accelerated to avoid inundation in the area. It is because the rain intensity is high lately.
"The construction is our respond to RW's request since the existing infiltration well is too far. That is why the area is often inundated," he said, Wednesday (2/7).

According to him, the wells can be functioned to reserve water during dry season.
"I hope local resident will take care the well much and inundation can be minimized too," he added.
Meanwhile, RT 03 Head, Moh Dais, appreciated and thanked the sub-agency for responding the construction request.
"It is hoped the construction can be completed soon," he stated.
