No Odd-Even Policy on February 8 and 9

Jakarta Provincial Government through Transportation Agency will take out Odd-Even license plate policy on February 8 and 9, 2024.

Road users are advised to obey traffic signs

The policy is taken inline with national holiday of Isra Miraj and Chinese New Year public holiday.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, explained the policy is based on Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) No 855/2023, No 3/2023, No 4/2023 about National Holiday and Mass Leave 2024.

"The policy is also based on Governor Regulation No 88/2019 verse 3, that traffic restrictions using the odd-even system are not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays and National Holidays determined by Presidential Decree," he said, Wednesday (2/7).

Syafrin added that the government provides opportunities for parents and children to be together during school holidays and increases tourism to encourage economic growth.

"Road users are advised to obey traffic signs, instructions from officers and prioritize road safety," he closed.
