Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono visited Dharma Bhakti Chin Te Yen and Dharma Jaya Toa Se Bio temples in West Jakarta, Friday (2/9) during Chinese New Year 2024/2575 Kongzili celebration.

Heru also hopes this year's Chinese New Year will bring blessings and health for citizen.
"I hope the Chinese
New Year celebration goes well and of course will bring blessing and health for citizens," he stated.Heru explained that Chinese New Year celebration is a tradition of the Chinese community which colors the diversity in the city of Jakarta, starting from customs, culture and religion. So that it can further foster social solidarity in community life.
"I hope this year's Chinese New Year becomes a momentum to continue maintaining unity, strengthen ties between people and strengthen tolerance in diversity," he explained.
The arrival of Acting Governor Heru was also greeted with a lion dance at Dharma Jaya Toa Se Bio Temple. Heru enjoyed the lion dance performance, then gave angpao to the lion dance players.
