The Dharma Jaya Segitiga Senen Temple located in the STS Sunter Garden Housing Complex, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta is ready to welcome the Chinese New Year to create a sense of comfort to the congregation.

Dharma Jaya Segitiga Senen Temple Caretaker, Djaya Gunawan said various preparations had been made, such as cleaning the god statues, arranging Chinese New Year knick-knacks, installing new candles, arranging the courtyard, and cleaning the floors in each room.
"It has been prepared since last week. Typical Chinese New Year decorations have also been put up," he expressed, Thursday (2/8).

This year's Chinese New Year was different compared to previous years because visitors were no longer limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indra Satria (71), one of the congregations from Sunter Muara admitted this year's Chinese New Year would be more festive and colorful as all Indonesian citizens had gone through difficult times due to the pandemic.
"Maybe, tomorrow night, I will come back for prayer and Saturday morning to gather with my family," he closed.
