Joint personnel had removed 69,655 campaign props simultaneously from ten sub-districts spread across South Jakarta yesterday, Sunday (2/11).

South Jakarta City Secretary, Ali Murthadho said those joint personnel were Satpol PP, Bawaslu, urban village apparatus, police, army (TNI), and FKDM at some points, especially on protocol roads.

"On protocol roads, sub-districts of Mampang Prapatan, Pancoran, Tebet, Kebayoran Baru, and Setiabudi are ensured to be free of political party flags and billboards," he expressed, Monday (2/12).

In a day, personnel managed to remove 68,655 props in ten sub-districts, with details, Tebet (8,005 props), Setiabudi (5,665 props), Mampang Prapatan (4,353 props), Pasar Minggu (5,587 props), and Kebayoran Lama (11,047 props).

Then Cilandak (2,873 props), Kebayoran Baru (11.965 props), Pancoran (6.513 props), Jagakarsa (6.957 props), and Pasar Minggu (6.691 props).

"We put them in the South Jakarta Satpol PP warehouse," he explained.

Until the election quiet period ends, precisely on Tuesday (2/13), his party will continue to control props on every street corner.

"Hopefully, the protocol roads, non protocol roads, and neighborhood roads are free of props," he hoped.

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Nanto Dwi Subekti uttered the action involved 450 joint personnel, starting from City Government, Sub-district head, urban village head, sub-agency which has the function of supervising social and public facilities, elements of the TNI and police, elements of election organizers.

To create an orderly and conducive atmosphere, he wanted all elements to clear campaign props along protocol roads.

"Especially residents, we urge them to clear the props in their environment during this quiet period," he said.
