He added joint personnel had also prepared an investigator team divided into three sectors, namely the northern sector covers the sub-districts of Matraman, Pulogadung, Matraman, and Cakung.
Then the middle sector covers the sub-districts of Jatinegara, Kramat Jati, and Duren Sawit, as well as the southern covers the sub-districts of Makasar, Ciracas, Pasar Rebo, and Cipayung.
"We will deploy 20 personnel and ten army/police in each sector," he explained.
They would operate using trail motorbikes and operational vehicles (KDO) plus caged cars belonging to the Satpol PP and would be on standby in the sub-districts of Pulogadung, Jatinegara, and Makasar.
"This security will begin from February 14 to 16. However, it can be extended for a maximum of two weeks if the vote-counting process is not complete," he continued.
East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Vice Chief, AKBP Burhanuddin explained as many as 1,742 personnel were prepared for the upcoming election. They were assigned to help with removing campaign props or APKs, maintaining election logistics, and securing TPS until voting was completed.
"Hopefully, the election can run smoothly without problems," he hoped.
