The channel cleaning on Jalan Kramat Raya, RW 04, Kramat Urban Village, Senen is targeted to complete in March. The work is being run by Central Jakarta Water Resource Taskforce since Tuesday (2/6).
The cleaning is run by 18 personnel per day
Senen Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Zulfahmi said the cleaning is started from Jalan Kramat Pulo up to Jalan Kramat Lontar along 750 meters.

Not only as routine maintenance, he added, the channel cleaning is also run to anticipate inundation.
"The progress has reached 20 percent," he added.
Meanwhile, RW 04 of Kramat Urban Village resident, Adit, appreciated the effort run by the personnel. He hoped it will advance the channel's function in preventing inundation.
"It is hoped there will be no more inundation during heavy rain," he hoped.
