Food Station Distributes Commercial and SPHP Rice to 15 Distribution Centers

PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya is assigned by central government to distribute 10,000 tons of premium (commercial) rice and Stabilization of Food Supply and Prices (SPHP) to all retail in Jabodetabek.

The distribution is involving 30 Distribution Center (DC)s spread in Jabodetabek to be distributed to 5,000-6,000 retails.
PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo, admitted 600 tons of rice have been distributed to 15 DCs up to now. Each DCs is covering 500 outlets or retails.

According to him, the distributed rice has been in form of 5 kilogram package. The price for SPHP rice is Rp 10,900 maximally at modern market, and premium rice is Rp 13,900 maximally.
"The mechanism is that modern retail limits from 10 to 15 kilograms per customer. It is aimed to prevent shock effect," he added.
He targets 10,000 tons of rice will be distributed to all retail in Jabodetabek up to March 2024. It is hoped the effort will lower rice price from Rp 17,000-18,000 to Rp 13,900 in Jabodetabek.
"It has been declining under Rp 14,000 now," he closed.
