More than 45 animals received free anti-rabies vaccination in the yard of the Petogogan Urban Village office, Kebayoran Baru held by Kebayoran Baru Maritime, Agricultural and Food Security (KPKP) Executing Unit, South Jakarta.

Hopefully, it can maintain Jakarta's rabies-free title

Kebayoran Baru Sub-district KPKP Executing Unit Head, Surtiati said today's vaccination targeted pets.

"It is done from 9 AM to 12 PM," she expressed, Monday (2/19).

She stated the 45 animals vaccinated were cats, three were dogs, and one was monkey.

"Hopefully, it can maintain Jakarta's rabies-free title," he hoped.

Besides vaccination, her side socialized about various types of diseases that could attack pets. One of them, scabies, which is a disease, can cause discomfort, itching, skin irritation, and even crusty skin on the animals.

"Hope it can provide many health benefits, both to the animal and its owner," she hoped.

The vaccination received appreciation from Petogongan Urban Village Head, Nina Permata. Hopefully, it could be a routine agenda in her region.

"Thank God, many animals are vaccinated today. Hopefully, all animals in Petogongan Urban Village get vaccine," she added.

One of the pet owners, Destiana (32), expressed her gratitude for the implementation of free rabies vaccinations for pets.

"Very helpful and useful. My pet has been vaccinated against rabies and sterilized. I don't want either the animals or I as the owner to get sick," she stated.
