145 Pets in Bendungan Hilir Get Rabies Vaccines

The Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP) has vaccinated 145 pets in Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, Tanah Abang from Tuesday (1/22) to Wednesday (1/23).

Animal Husbandry and Health Section Head, Herawati said the first vaccination was held on Tuesday (1/22) at Taman Guntur, RW 03 and the second was held on Wednesday (1/23) at RPTRA Melati 04, RW 04, Bendungan Hilir Urban Village.
"In total, we have vaccinated around 145 pets, consisting of 129 cats and 16 dogs," he said, Thursday (1/24).

Bendungan Hilir Urban Village Head, Rida Mufrida said the residents were very enthusiastic about the rabies vaccination drive.
"Residents already know the importance of rabies vaccination, so this is very much hoped for," he stated.
