100 Orphans in West Jakarta Receive Compensation

The West Jakarta administration gave compensation to 100 orphans and dhuafa (poor people) in the MH Thamrin Room, Block B Building, West Jakarta Mayor's Office, Wednesday (2/21).

Welfare Section Head, Abdurahman Anwar said the compensation was given in the context of activities to actualize the values of Isra Mi'raj (Ascension Day of Prophet Muhammad) held in collaboration with the West Jakarta Baznas Bazis. Each child receives compensation amounting to Rp 400,000.

"Compensation is a concern for the West Jakarta administration. Hopefully, it will be useful," he expressed.

Seribu Islands Students Receive School Equipment Aid

According to him, the activity of actualizing the values of Isra Mi'raj was attended by 300 participants who were ASN under the West Jakarta Mayor's Office.

West Jakarta Regional Civil Service Head, Mohammad Hafiz added this activity aims to improve the quality of faith and piety for ASN, especially under the West Jakarta administration.

"Hopefully, it can increase the quality of faith and piety," he stated.

Sulastri (28), one of the recipients expressed his gratitude for the care and attention given by the West Jakarta administration.

"Thank God, the compensation I receive can help meet my daily living needs," he stated.
