Kebon Pala Fire Survivors Received Assistance

The fire survivors on Jalan Al-Musyawar RT 015/02 Kebon Pala Urban Village, Makasar, Tuesday (2/27), received assistance from East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross.

Acting East Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Abdul Salam, admitted there are five natura (goods) and 26 clothing given to the residents. The assistance was given to urban village side to be distributed to the survivors.

"The survivors received 40 kilograms of rice, four boxes of instant noodle, four packs of cooking oil, four bottle of bottles, and four boxes of mineral water," he said.

He added that the clothing given were eight blankets, four towels, four mukenas, 12 packs of sanitary napkin, four pieces of sarong, and four matrasses.

Next were nine pieces of man underwear, eight pieces of women underwear, eight pieces of bra, three packs of toddler milk, eight pieces of soap, eight pieces of brush tooth, four pieces of toddler porridge, eight bottles of shampoo for adult, and two bottles of toddler shampoo.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta PMI's Public Relation and Communication Section Head, Agus Bastian, said his side distributed staple food, school tools, and health equipment.

"We also distribute four packages of family kit, four packages of hygiene kit, four packages of staple food, two packages of school kit, and four pieces of mat," he said.

Kebon Pala Urban Village Head, Faisal Rizal, explained there are four families of 16 residents impacted by the fire incident.

"The assistance from East Jakarta Social Sub-agency and East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross have been distributed to the survivors," he explained.

As for information, a fire burned rent house on Monday (2/26) at 6.18 PM. Five rent houses and 16 people were impacted by the incident.
