Rawa Terate Urban Village Head, Daniel Wisnu Parulian expressed his party deployed one fiber boat unit with assistance from BPBD and 40 PPSU members.
According to him, the PPSU deployed in synergy with the Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, BPBD, and other related units, spread to the areas of RW 05, RT 16/04, RT 12/06, and Jalan Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX, to help residents who needed evacuation, as well as cleaning up garbage that clogs water sluice gates and water channels in residential areas.

RW 05 Rawa Terate Chairman, Hendra Hadiansyah explained the inundation due to overflowing waters from the Petukangan River started to occur at around 5.30 AM. The overflow of the Petukangan River was triggered by heavy rain which fell since 2.15 AM and the condition of the Sunter Hulu River was quite high.
"Water began to flood Jalan Krama Yudha at around 5.30 AM with an average height of around 40-50 centimeters. However, the worst thing was at RT 10, the height reached one meter," he explained.
Based on the results of regional monitoring, the overflow of the Petukangan River inundated residential areas in RT 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, and 08 with 20-50 centimeters high. "Thus far, no residents have evacuated, despite we have offered them via the WA group. Evacuation locations were also prepared at the Al Istiqomah Mosque, the Krama Yuda office and at the RW secretariat," he concluded.
