Repair of Water Channels in RW 03 Kelapa Island Urban Village Completed

Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency personnel, succeeded in completing water channel repairs in RT 07/03, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district.

We deployed six personnel to repair a 40-meter-long channel

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-Agency Head, Hendri said the repairs conducted included making a new channel by installing a six inch paralon pipe and casting the top of the channel, as well as making a drainage control tank measuring 40x40 centimeters.

"We deployed six personnel to repair a 40-meter-long channel. Work has been ongoing on February 24, 2024," he expressed, Friday (3/1).

March, Breakwater Repairs on North Side of Kelapa Island Completed

According to him, the damage to the channel had caused flooding in the area during high-intensity rain.

"Hopefully, with this repair, the channel will function optimally and be able to prevent flooding," he explained.

RW 03 Chairman, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Doni Aryanto, appreciated that SDA officers were moving quickly to overcome damage to water channels in his area.

"The results of the officer's performance are neat and fast. I hope that repairing this channel will have a positive impact on efforts to overcome inundation here," he stated.
