31,800 Chili Trees Planted During 52nd HKG-PKK Anniversary

The 52nd anniversary of Hari Kesatuan Gerak-Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (HKG-PKK) 2024 was held by planting 31,800 chili trees in all Jakarta areas.

The hybrid activity was centered at Taman Hatinya PKK Tanah Abang, Sudirman Park Apartment, Central Jakarta, Monday (3/4).

Anwar Leads Chili Planting at Brigif 1 Jaya Sakti Headquarters

Jakarta TP PKK Pokja 3 Chairwoman, Komariah Marullah, said the chili tree planting was run at 502 locations by involving 7,430 PKK cadres.

"We plant 900 chili trees and 50 rosela trees at Sudirman Park Apartment as prime plants in Central Jakarta," she said.

Komariah added that the activity is not only to give impact for food tenacity, but also to suppress inflation rate. Moreover, Eid ul fitr is near.

"I hope all cadre to be more active to plant chili in their house," she added.

Central Jakarta TP PKK Chairwoman, Ucu Jamilah, admitted her side also spread 1,000 consumption-fish seed, distributing healthy food for toddlers indicated with stunting, and also distributing reading book for senior high school students.

"The program is good since every family needs chili. It is also good for food tenacity and stabilize inflation rate," she admitted.
