20 Kg Water Pumpkin Harvested at Kelapa Island Boat Docking

The Seribu Islands Maritime, Agricultural and Food Security Sub-agency (KPKP), harvested 20 kg of water gourds from the Kelapa Island Boat Docking planting area, Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district.

Seribu Islands KPKP Sub-agency's Food Security Section Head, Parsa said today's water gourd harvest was the second time.
"It takes three months to harvest pumpkin fruit from the planting period. We will immediately share today's harvest with local residents and docking officers," he expressed, Monday (3/4).

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim added it is one solution to green the environment while realizing a food security program, especially on Kelapa Island.
"We support this activity. The results harvested are of good quality. Hopefully, it can create family food security," he explained.
The action above received appreciation from a resident from RW 02, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Indah.
"The fruit is big and good, usually I also get kale, spinach, and other vegetables," he stated.
