Burnt Down, Students of SMPN 65 Temporary Relocated

In aftermath of fire on Tuesday (4/14) evening, teaching and learning activities at SMPN 65 on Jalan Metro Kencana Raya, Metro Sunter Residential, Papanggo Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta is still paralyzed.

As planned, this afternoon the teaching and learning activities is held at SDN 03, 04 and SDN 12 Sunter Agung

The fire gutted the entire 3rd floor at 7 PM and caused most of the rooms on 2nd and 1st floor damaged. Consequently, as much as 681 students could not use the building for teaching and learning activities.

The principal of SMPN 65, Pua Magharani expressed that students could not study at school for while. Magharani party has coordinated with Education Sub-Department of North Jakarta region 1 to move them.

City Department Education Ensured CBT Exam Runs Well

β€œAs planned, this afternoon the teaching and learning activities is held at SDN 03, 04 and SDN 12 Sunter Agung,” Magharani uttered, Wednesday (4/15).

Magharani added, presently her party still recording the loss. The fire burned 5 classrooms, laboratory and computer room on 3rd floor.

β€œThe total loss could not be estimated yet. Currently, we focus on cleaning the debris after fire as well as move the teaching learning activities,” she disclosed..
