The fire survivors on Jalan Kampung Rawa Terate, Gang Air Putih, RT 06/01, Rawa Terate Urban Village, Cakung, received assistance from East Jakarta Social Sub-agency. The fire which happened on Monday (3/4) at 6:09 PM was caused by short circuit.

Acting East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam, explained the distributed assistance are 60 kilograms of rice, six boxes of instant noodle, six bottles of ketchup, and 12 boxes of mineral water.

Those clothing are 30 adult blankets, six towels, six house dresses, six mukenas, 18 pcs of man underwear, 18 pcs of woman underwear, 12 pcs of bra, 12 pcs of soap, 12 packs of sanitary napkin, six matrasses, six sarongs, six clothes, four bottles of baby shampoo, and nine bottles of adult shampoo.
Next are baby diapers, toothpaste by six pcs, toothbrush by 12 pcs, baby blanket by five pcs, five pairs of children clothing, one elementary uniform, one junior high school uniform, one senior high school uniform, three of shoes, and three school bags.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue's Operational Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman, stated the fire caused by short circuit.
His side deployed 13 fire trucks and 55 personnel to extinguish the fire.
"We finally extinguished the fire in 50 minutes," he stated.
Rawa Terate Urban Village Secretary, Daniel Wisnu Parulian, said the fire caused three families or 17 people lost their houses. Now they take refugee to their neighbors.
"Two victims are being hospitalized at Islam and Jayakarta Hospitals," he said.
