Area Arrangement on Jalan KS Tubun I Reaches 80 Percent

The progress of arranging the area for the first quarter of 2024 on Jalan KS Tubun, RT 01/02, Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta, has now reached 80 percent.

"I welcome it and now the area is clean, neat, and green already

Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village Head, Sahono said the arrangement is conducted on land that is two meters wide and 250 meters long.

"It is done, as the previous land area seemed slum and was often used as a location for street vendors to sell," he expressed, Friday (3/8).

Before the arrangement, his party first controlled the existence of street vendors occupying the sidewalks by prioritizing persuasive and humanist methods. Then, together with other related OPDs, they conducted arrangements such as draining and planting hundreds of types of ornamental plants.

"Currently, personnel are working on a jogging track in the middle of the arrangement area," he uttered.

The arrangement above received appreciation from a resident, Gani Asnawi (58).

"I welcome it and now the area is clean, neat, and green already. And the sidewalks can also be crossed," he stated.
