Electricity Short Circuit Causes Fire on Jalan Sumur Batu

Electricity short circuit was allegedly causing fire at densely populated area, Jalan Sumur Batu RT 05/05, Cempaka Baru Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (3/20) night.

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Asril Rizal, said his side received report at 8:40 PM. Then the fire was finally extinguished at 9:20 PM after being handled for 30 minutes.
Assistance Disbursed to KBU Fire Survivors"We deployed 25 fire trucks with two of them from North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency," he said, Thursday (3/21).
Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue's Section Head, Ahmad Syaiful, explained the fire came from the second story of the house. Residents must broke the door since the owner left the house.
"It was allegedly caused by short circuit," he explained.
According to him, there is no victims caused by the incident.
"Six families or 30 people lost their houses," he stated.
