Channel Improvement in Kelapa Island Urban Village Completed

Seribu Island Water Resources Sub-agency personnel have completed the water channel improvement at RT 07/02 and RT 03/04, Kelapa Island Urban Village, Seribu Utara Island Sub-district.
Personnel installed new 6 inch-pipe line
Sub-agency Head, Hendri, said the channel improvement is to respond urban village's report since the broken channel triggered inundation during heavy rain.
Channel on Jalan Raya Bogor Dredged"We deploy five personnel for each locations since March 15, 2024," he said.
According to him, channel improvement at RT 07/02 is run along 30 meters and at RT 03/04 by 35 meters.
"Personnel installed new 6 inch-pipe line. It will be covered with concrete," he added.
Meanwhile, Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Muslim, appreciated Sub-agency's effort in responding the report.
"Hopefully the newly constructed channel will function maximally and prevent inundation," he hoped.
