165 Homecomers Enjoy North Jakarta PMI Healthpost

North Jakarta Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) actively opened healthpost at Tanjung Priok Terminal and Port during Eid ul Fitr holidays. Hundreds of homecomers enjoyed the service since April 7, 2024.

North Jakarta PMI Headquarter Head, Nur Hasanudin, said the healthpost is routinely held every year.

"The post is still being operated today, or extended based on condition," he said, Tuesday (4/16).

There are five Korps Sukarela personnel, one health service car, and ambulance for each posts to serve drivers and passengers.

"North Jakarta PMI has committed to give best service for community every year," he added.

According to him, there are 95 homecomers enjoyed the post at Tanjung Priok Port and 70 homecomers at Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal up to today.

"They usually check their blood tension, blood sugar, cholesterol, and so on. We also give them vitamins," he continued.

Moreover, Acang, North Jakarta PMI personnel, admitted his side also educate homecomers to maintain their stamina and health.

"Hopefully this posts give benefits for them. We'll open the posts again next year," he admitted.
