East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Deployed 180 Personnel During Eid Holidays

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency deployed 180 personnel to assist managing traffic at several points up to exit toll and public cemetery since April 6 to 15, 2024.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Renny Dwi Astuti, admitted the personnel deployed since the traffic was too heavy due to homecoming period. Then the deployment was ended on Monday (4/15).

"Totally we deployed 180 personnel to assist traffic management and guard several determined locations. They joined with army, police, Satpol PP and others," she said, Tuesday (4/16).

Sub-agency's Monitoring and Handling Section Head, Riki Erwinda, explained those 180 personnel were deployed to five location categories spread in 35 locations. Those are 11 integrated posts by 66 personnel, 13 points on TMII access roads by 64 personnel.

"Then 30 personnel at exit toll by four points, and 12 personnel for four public cemeteries," Riki stated.

Moreover, eight personnel were also deployed to secure Acting Governor's road access on Jalan Pahlawan Revolusi and Jalan Laksamana Malahayati.

The security posts were Homecoming Post at Pangkalan Jati intersection, Cacing Tol Underpass, Pulogebang Bus Terminal, Jatinegara Station, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and so on.

Then security posts at TMII such as Gate 1 and Gate 3, Garuda traffic light, Pinang Ranti intersection, in front of Pondok Gede Hajj Hostel, in front of At Tin Mosque, and so on.

While for exit toll areas were Pasar Rebo Exit Toll, Halim Perdanakusuma, Cililitan, and Rawamangun.

Then for public cemeteries were Penggilingan Layur, Kemiri Pulogadung, Pondok Rangon, and Pondok Kelapa.
