400,421 Visitors Visit TMR during Idul Fitri Holidays

Ragunan Zoo (TMR) is still a favorite tourist destination for recreation during the holidays with Idul Fitri. In the period April 11-15, there were 400,421 visitors.

Our target is 800,000 visitors

TMR's Services and Public Relations Staff, Wahyudi Bambang stated the highest number of visitors recorded occurred on Saturday (4/13) with a total of 112,569 people.

"Predictably, the increase in visits will still occur on next Saturday and Sunday," he expressed, Tuesday (4/16).

Heru Ensures Public Services Run Optimally

On Thursday (4/11), there were 69,979 visitors, 67,690 on Friday (4/12), 112,569 on Saturday (4/13), 109,994 on Sunday (4/14), and 42,189 on Monday (4/15).

"We have tried our best to regulate vehicle parking and human traffic in the TMR area," he explained.

He added that for visits during Idul Fitri this year, TMR had set the date from April 11 to 21, 2024.

"Our target is 800,000 visitors. We base it on visitor data in 2023 by 756,000 visitors," he explained.

One of the TMR visitors from Sukabumi, West Java, Arif Muhammad (34), admitted he felt happy by enjoying and spending the Idul Fitri holiday at TMR.

"TMR is an educational tourist spot about flora and fauna. It is a fun experience to make your family and children happy. Hopefully, in the future, if we have the opportunity or have another long holiday, we'll come back here," he stated.
