KAA, 1,000 Satpol PP Personnel Standby on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin

As much as 1,000 personnel of Satpol PP are deployed along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-Jalan MH Thamrin in order to assist the security in the implementation of the 60th Asia-Africa Summit (KAA).

Head of Operational Division for Central Jakarta Satpol PP, Maruli Sijabat uttered Satpol PP personnel deployed along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman-MH Thamrin to safeguard the KAA and prevent street vendors (PKL).

Sijabat expressed those are already standby along the protocol roads until the delegations’ hotels in case of security needs.
“The personel will on standby at 6 AM until 9 PM in two shifts. We are ready to minimize street vendors and assist the police to manage traffic,” he finished.
