Central Jakarta Launches Residental Renovation in Menteng

Central Jakarta Administration launched house renovation for residents impacted by fire on Jalan Anyer, RT 06/09, Menteng Urban Village. The launching was signed by placing a stone by Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma.

Dhany said the house renovation is carried out by rebuilding the houses of residents affected by the fire that occurred in 2023. This activity is in synergy with Central Jakarta Baznas Bazis.

"We want to rebuild and manage this area better, healthier, and more beautiful," he said, Friday (4/25).

Based on the results of data collection carried out by the Central Jakarta Baznas Bazis, a total of 12 buildings owned by residents will be rebuilt. Then, the facades of eight residential units will be repaired.

Dhany added that the status of the land in the area has clear rights and has been certified, making it easier for the intervention process of its staff together with Baznas Bazis to carry out re-arrangement.

Not only residents' houses, he continued, roads, channels and environmental arrangements will also be carried out. The construction work on this area is targeted to be completed within 60 days.

One of the beneficiary residents, Tuti Solihati, felt grateful because her 24 square meter house which burnt down will be rebuilt by the City Government and the Central Jakarta Baznas Bazis.

"Thanks for the government for providing this program for us," she stated.
