The construction of LRT phase 1B along 6.4 kilometers tnnat connects Velodrome-Manggarai has entered week 31. It is targeted that the train track test running from Velodrome Station to Rawamangun Station can be carried out in September 2024.
This percentage indicates a positive deviation
Jakpro Director, Iwan Takwin, said entering the 31st week of construction, the Jakarta Phase 1B LRT project has reached a development percentage of 10.4291 percent.
"This percentage indicates a positive deviation from the overall Jakarta LRT project plan," he said, Saturday (4/27).
Here LRT Phase 1B Velodrome - Manggarai Development ProgressIwan added that the construction of the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B has now reached an important milestone, namely the lifting of the grider beams on their supports, which was carried out for the first time on April 20 2024. This girder is one of the main supporting structures for the Jakarta LRT train track.
The lifting of girders for the first time was carried out on Jalan Pemuda area, Rawamangun, precisely in the area span P06-07B, close to the Jakarta International Velodrome (JIV) and Arion Mall.
"The girder used is a PCU girder type with a length of 31.5 meters, where for each span two PCU girders will be used to support the two rail lines which will be built in the next stage," he added.
According to him, the Jakpro team, assisted by the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and contractor, prepared a thorough safety and risk analysis regarding the lifting method before carrying out the girder lifting process. After that, Manpower and Transmigration Agency's PJK3 assessment team carried out certification of lifting equipment in the form of checking non-destructive tests (NDT) and wire slings.
"The safety aspect is always the main point in the Jakarta LRT project work, of course it is applied in the girder lifting work," he continued.
He stated the girder lifting activity also carried out traffic engineering in the lifting area in the form of temporary traffic flow arrangements during the girder lifting process. In this process, the Jakpro team also involved the Indonesian Police Traffic Unit and Jakarta Transportation Agency to ensure smooth traffic.
"The girder lifting process was carried out using two crawler cranes, each with a capacity of 275 tons, which were placed on both sides of the girder (P06B and P07B). Then the girder that has been stretched between the two is lifted from ground level to the top of the main column head," he stated.
Overall, the preparation process up to the lifting of the girders uses a window time, namely 10 PM to 4:30 AM. However, the lifting process itself only takes around 30 minutes to 1 hour per girder.
After the girder lifting process, the next construction phase is the diaphragm or connecting two girders to make one building structure.
"After this stage is complete, the next step will be construction of the slab deck which will become the work floor for trackwork, such as installing sleepers and track rails," he explained.
