To commemorate Kartini Day, the Jakarta Provincial Government held a fashion show attended by Jakarta Srikandi or female employees, in the Hall Yard of Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday (5/2).

The fashion show was entitled 'Srikandi Jakarta Steps a Million Lights' contested and attended by female employees representing Regional Apparatus within the Jakarta Government.
Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Bhdi Hartono accompanied by Jakarta TP PKK Acting Chairwoman, Mirdiyanti, opened the fashion show. He urged the participants to express themselves in this event.

City Secretary's Regional Cooperation Bureau Head, Marulina Dewi as the committee expressed the fashion show event this time was expected to provide inspiration for Jakarta's heroines, not only now, but also for Jakarta's future.
"Based in the Regional Civil Service Agency's data shows that the number of ASNs in Jakarta is 66,000, of which 37,781 are women. That means, more than 50% of Jakarta's public servants are women. Of the 89 primary high leadership officials in the Jakarta Government, 22 of them are female leaders, whose work has had a significant impact on development in Jakarta," she explained.
The event began with a fashion show by 62 female models, consisting of Jakarta Government Primary High Leadership officials, BUMD directors, and technical officers, such as rainbow troops, health workers, teachers and machinists.
Then, the fashion show competition was attended by 150 representative participants from Regional Apparatus within the Jakarta Government. There were 211 fashion designs displayed in this activity.
