Nine Firetrucks Extinguish Fire in Sumur Batu

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency deployed nine firetrucks with 45 personnel to extinguish fire on Jalan Berlian Raya RT 07/04, Sumur Batu Urban Village, Kemayoran, Monday (5/20).

Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Asril Rizal, said his side received report of the incident at 1:15 PM. His side deployed two firetrucks for early handling.

The fire, he said, burned part of the house. Luckily, there is no victim caused by the incident.
"After sending two firetrucks, we deployed again by nine firetrucks with 45 personnel," he added.
Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency's Fire Handling and Rescue Section Head, Ahmad Syaiful, admitted the fire was firstly seen by PPSU personnel.
It is allegedly the fire was caused by electricity short circuit.
"Personnel finally fully extinguished the fire at 2:15 PM," he admitted.
