Seribu Island Tourism Sites Socialized to Content Creator

As many as 65 content creators participated Family Trip (Famtrip) 2024 held by Seribu Island Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency. They were invited to visit various of tourism destinations in Seribu Island.

Seribu Island Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan, said this destination introduction activity is intended to be a promotional medium through community involvement packaged in the form of visits to resort islands, cultural heritage sites and residential islands.

"This activity is one of our programs to introduce and promote the Seribu Islands to the general public as an international tourist destination, as well as encouraging Jakarta's economic growth," he said, Friday (5/24).

Sonti added that those participants came from various content creator circles such as influencers, bloggers, photographers, celebs, digital creators, and others.

Famtrip participants were given free facilities by boarding a boat and traveling around a number of destinations such as Kelor Island, Payung Island and Tidung Kecil Island accompanied by a tour guide.

"Once they arrive at a destination, they are given time to surround each island. They were also given the opportunity to plant mangroves and restock fish on Tidung Kecil Island," he added.

Meanwhile, one of participants from West Jakarta, Tasya Amini (24), admitted happy to participate in the program to enjoy the scenery of the islands for free.

"As a blogger, I will promote Seribu Island through my account," she admitted.
