PT JIEP Appreciate Transjakarta Service at Pulogadung Industrial Area

PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) appreciated cooperation with PT Transjakarta for providing public transport at Pulogadung Industrial Area, East Jakarta.

JIEP cooperates with PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) by opening new route Stasiun Klender - Pulogadung via JIEP (11W) starting from Monday (5/27).

The cooperation marked with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) about Public Transport Service Route Stasiun Klender - Pulogadung Via JIEP by Acting Director of PT JIEP, Dharma Satriadi and Director of Transjakarta, Welfizon Yuza.

Acting Director of PT JIEP, Dharma Satriadi, said the presence of this new route is a historic moment for PT JIEP as the manager and developer of the Pulogadung Industrial Area which has finally answered and fulfilled the needs of all stakeholders to be able to access public transport services in the area.

"This history was created. Thanks to the Jakarta BUMD synergy between PT JIEP and Transjakarta to jointly produce added value for both companies in serving all stakeholders and the wider community in Jakarta," he said, Wednesday (5/29).

The bus code trip is 11W-R01 St. Klender - Pulogadung via JIEP and 11W-R02 Pulogadung - St. Klender via JIEP. The operational hours is Monday to Friday at 5 AM to 10 PM.

"This route covers 58 stopping points with a travel time of 91 minutes," he added.

Jakarta Regional Secretary's Economy and Monetary Assistant, Sri Haryati, appreciated PT JIEP and Transjakarta for cooperating each other in serving Jakarta residents wider up to Pulogadung Industrial Area.

"Hopefully this synergy will give benefit for all Jakarta residents working at the industrial and bring blessing for PT JIEP and Transjakarta," Sri stated.

Meanwhile, Investment Director 1 PT Danareksa, Chris Soemijantoro, explained Pulogadung Industrial Area is the first industrial area in Indonesia which is part of the state-owned holding company, PT Danareksa and is also the first to have Transjakarta bus public transportation services.

"This is a historical moment. The establishment of cooperation through the signing of the MoU today is an effort to improve PT JIEP's services as a holding member to all stakeholders," he admitted.
