PT JIEP Prepares 3,000 Staple Food Packages

PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP) held cheap staple food program in order to greet fasting month.

As many as 3,000 packages were prepared during the program to assist residents getting affordable price of staple foods.

Acting PT JIEP Director, Dharma Satriadi, said the program was held to support both Central Government and Jakarta Provincial Government's program, as well as social responsibility for residents living near the company office.

"As the State-Owned Enterprise and Regional-Owned Enterprise, PT JIEP commits to support both Central Government and Jakarta Provincial Government's program related with community welfare," he said, Friday (3/8).

Meanwhile, Corporate Secretary of PT JIEP, Medik Endra Wahyudi, stated that his side cooperated with Food Station in preparing the 3,000 packages.

"Based on company's commitment, we're trying to give our best for the residents," he stated.

He added that the package is sold Rp 100,000. It consists five kilogram of rice, two liters of cooking oil, one kilogram of sugar, and one kilogram of flour.

"It is hoped the program will assist the residents in fulfilling basic needs ahead of fasting month," he closed.
