Two Spots of Dirty Channels in Mampang Prapatan Cleared

Ten PPSU personnel cleaned two spots of dirty channels located in Mampang Prapatan areas, South Jakarta yesterday, Monday (6/3).
Those two channels are on Jalan Kapten Tendean, RW 01, and Jalan Tegal Parang V, RW 04
Mampang Prapatan Urban Village Head, Sulastri said that cleaning the channels from waste and mud was conducted to prevent the surrounding area from flooding when it rains.
"Those two channels are on Jalan Kapten Tendean, RW 01, and Jalan Tegal Parang V, RW 04," she expressed, Tuesday (6/4).

Therefore, residents were urged to keep the routine of keeping the environment clean by not littering and doing routine devotional work.
"If they (channels) are clogged, it will become a nest for diseases such as dengue fever and others," she explained.
One of the residents, Jayadi (52), stated so far environmental administrators have requested cleanup action on holidays.
"Thank you to the urban village for sending PPSU to clean our environment," he stated.
