Kartini Urban Village apparatuses, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, distributed rice aid of stage V 2024 from Sawah Besar Koramil. The assistance was given to 1,199 families spread to 127 RTs of nine RWs.

Kartini Urban Village Head, Ati Mediana, said this assistance was given to families who fall into the disadvantaged category according to the integrated social welfare data (STKS) from Jakarta Social Agency. The distribution activity of 10 Kilogram packaged rice has been carried out in five stages.

"The distribution is once a month and this is the fifth time this year. Hopefully this assistance will continue," she said, Tuesday (6/4).

Ati explained that the distribution of this aid is carried out according to data by name and by address. Those who come to collect rice aid at the Urban Village Head's Office simply give an invitation containing data and a barcode to the officer.

Her side also deployed 13 PPSU personnel to assist the distribution. Eight of them have been trained regarding assistance distribution application.

Ati continued that this fifth distribution was held two days from Monday (6/3) to Tuesday (6/4). First day distribution was held at RW 01 to 05, and the rest was RW 06 to RW 09.

Darti (62), one of receivers who lives on Jalan Lautze Dalam RT 01/07 Kartini Urban Village, admitted happy with the assistance. She has received the assistance fifth time.

"One sack of rice is enough for me, my husband, and two children for one month," she admitted.
