20 Personnel Deployed to Tackle Flooding on Jalan Jamboree

Heavy rain which flushed parts of Jakarta, caused flooding as high as 30 to 40 centimeters on Jalan Raya Jamboree, RT 06/13 and RT 09/07, Cibubur Urban Village, Ciracas, East Jakarta, Tuesday (6/11) at around 2.30 PM.

The water is pumped to the connecting channel on the road and channeled to the Rawa Dongkal Reservoir

Ciracas Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force Coordinator, Deby said to deal with flooding, his party deployed 20 task force personnel with the support of a car pump unit with a capacity of 250 liters per second.

Until 4.50 PM, the handling of flooding was still ongoing. As sunset approaches, the flooding gradually decreases, even though it has not completely receded.

Cibubur Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, heru Kristianto added that to help deal with flooding and traffic jams at the location, his party deployed eight PPSU personnel.

"Because the traffic conditions are congested, we will help regulate the traffic," he closed.
