Arrangement of Front Area of ​​Makodam Jaya Completed

The area arrangement located in front of the Jayakarta Regional Military Command Headquarters (Makodam Jaya), Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Cawang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta has been completed.

East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tamhut) Head, Djauhar Arifin said the area arrangement was conducted to make the surrounding location more beautiful and green. It was done by replacing broken or wilted ornamental plants with new ones.

"We want to make the area greener," he expressed, Wednesday (6/12).

Sidewalk Arrangement on Jalan Duri Kosambi Resumed

He explained this area was chosen as the location for the arrangement was because it was right in front of the Makodam Jaya Headquarters and at the exit from the Jagorawi Toll Road.

"This route is always crossed by many high-ranking officials and state guests. The location is also not far from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport," he continued.

Green Belt and Cemetery Section Acting Head, Randi Putra added the ornamental plants planted varied, numbering in the thousands, ranging from pretty pink, cabbage palm to kemuning.

The arrangement involved 20 personnel of Parks Task Force was started in the end of April 2024 and was completed last year.

"Every day, the ornamental plants here will always be watered in the morning and evening so that they continue to grow lush and green," he stated.
