Charming Colorful Decorations Beautify the HI Roundabout

Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency beautifies green lane at HI Roundabout and Arjuna Wijaya Statue Gambir with charming colorful decorations of Central Jakarta. The decoration consists of a neon box for the 497th Jakarta Anniversary and the addition of ornamental plants.

Decoration theme is inline with Jakarta's 497 Anniversary

Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda said the decorations prepared by his staff were to welcome the 497th anniversary of the city of Jakarta where the peak of the celebration will be held in the Monas area.

"Decoration theme is inline with Jakarta's 497 Anniversary theme namely Jakarta is a global city with millions of charms," she said, Friday (6/21).

Mila explained her side also decorates the green belt area with 17 types of beautiful flowering and leafy ornamental plants. These include ornamental plants Kastuba, Colorful Chrysanthemum, Aster, Marigold, Celosia, Centipede Fern and Kadaka.

"The work involved 40 personnel since June 19-20," she added.

The decoration will last for a week ahead. Her side also decorates Central Jakarta Mayor Office.

Meanwhile, Sub-agency's Green Line Section Head, Budi Hidayat, admitted his side also arrange green lane at Northern Monas Gate's Pandang Park, Southern Monas Gate and Jalan Wahidin.

The improvements were already started since June 7 by involving 28 personnel.

"Not only celebrating the Jakarta anniversary, the arrangement is also to enliven Jakarta International Marathon 2024," he closed.
